The GRP Manual seeks to harmonize federal and state regulations with regard to the natural gas industry, thus promoting a dynamic and competitive market able to foster economic development.

Public Consultation n. 12/2020 of the Monitoring Committee for the Opening of the. Natural Gas Market (CMGN, in the Portuguese acronym) at the Brazilian National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) seeks to survey the public opinion on a draft GRP Manual under the strategic pillar “Harmonizing state and federal regulations in the sector” of the New Gas Market program.

The GRP Manual analyses major sector and cross-sector regulations affecting the industry and presents guidelines for the adoption of GRP in order to support federal and state regulatory bodies’ activities.
