The National Land Transportation Agency (ANTT) published Resolution n. 5.900/2020 extending, for another 60 days, the terms of Resolution n. 5.879/2020. The resolutions introduce flexibility on deadlines for compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations regarding railway and road transportation



The flexibility period would initially end on 07/31/2020. Resolution n. 5.900/2020 also included, in the extension approved, the Complementary License for international road freight transport of foreign companies, provided that, by reciprocity, there is a similar act from the foreign country towards Brazilian companies.

The Resolution n. 5.879/2020, dated March 26, 2020, was enacted in the context of the pandemic. It encompasses several contractual and regulatory obligations related to the exploitation of infrastructure and services regulated and supervised by the Agency.
