·         The following medical/hospital products are exempt from licensing by the Subsecretariat for Foreign Trade Operations (SUEXT) for administrative treatment as “Goods”: NCM (Mercosur Common Nomenclature, which comprises the six-digit codes of the Harmonized System, plus two additional digits) 6505.00.90, 6210.40.00, 6210.50.00, 6211.33.00; 6210.10.00, 9018.90.10, 3822.00.90, 3926.90.40, 9018.39.99, 9018.31.11 and 9018.31.19.

·         The following medical/hospital products are exempt from Inmetro (National Institute of Metrology Standardization and Industrial Quality) licensing: NCM 8214.90.90 and 8419.89.19, for administrative treatment as “Goods”; and NCM 8419.89.20, for administrative handling of the “Highlight of Goods” type”.

·         The import licensing requirement is suspended for Brazilian imports of plastic tubes for vacuum blood collection (NCM 3822.00.90, 3926.90.40 and 9018.39.99) from Germany, the United States of America, the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, and China, and disposable syringes for general use, plastic-made, with a capacity of 1ml, 3ml, 5 ml, 10 ml or 20 ml, with or without needles (NCM 9018.31.11 e 9018.31.19) from China.
